This partnership aims to expand the availability of professional indemnity (PI) insurance, offering SMEs enhanced coverage options tailored to their specific needs.

Effective from March 3, 2026, SMEs with annual revenues under $7.5 million can access Zurich's PI insurance through BizCover's online platform. The coverage includes limits of up to $10 million, retroactive cover agreed in advance, worldwide coverage excluding North America, and legal defense costs in the event of a claim.

Michael Gottlieb, CEO of BizCover, emphasized that collaborating with a reputable insurer like Zurich aligns with the company's commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience built on trust and clarity. He highlighted the importance of providing SMEs with confidence in their insurance choices, especially in an environment where managing risk and cost is paramount.

Alex Morgan, Head of General Insurance at Zurich, noted that the agreement would broaden access to Zurich's underwriting expertise among Australia's small business community. He expressed enthusiasm about supporting professional services businesses and enabling them to obtain insurance quickly and efficiently, allowing them to focus on their core operations.

For business owners, this partnership signifies an opportunity to secure comprehensive PI insurance coverage through a streamlined online process. The collaboration between BizCover and Zurich Australia reflects a shared commitment to supporting the SME sector by providing accessible and reliable insurance solutions.
